Class size capped at: 10 students

Format: virtual
Class description: Join writer, actor, director Hannah Cheesman (Workin’ Moms, Whatever, Linda) for an in-depth masterclass that will support you in honing your craft as a screenwriter. This class will be focused on the more detailed elements of screenwriting and story building, allowing you to strengthen the skills that help you feel confident and adaptable in the industry as a screenwriter.

Tangible takeaways:
-
The art of pacing
-
What to expect in a writing room
-
Writing and producing your own web series, tv series, feature
-
Working through creative blocks or doubt
-
An opportunity to share an outline of a project you’re currently working on or about to begin developing, for in-class feedback and guidance
Who is this for: This class will best serve mid-level screenwriters who actively have at least 1-2 projects in development. This class is good for folks who have written but never engaged in a formal writing room and who have a desire to write and have produced their own feature, series etc. This class will have a high level of participant engagement, which is why the class is capped at a smaller number. It will offer both skills building as well as a container for creative brainstorming time directly out of the feedback session. Participants will be expected to come to class with a 1 page outline, either for a short, a feature length film or a TV episode.
